What is a Prepaid Funeral Plan?
A Prepaid Funeral Plan can provide you with peace of mind and enables you to prearrange, and pay for your own funeral, protecting your family and friends from expense, worry and uncertainty at a difficult time.
Why are Prepaid Funeral Plans important?
The cost of a funeral has been rising year on year, that is why it is more important than ever to plan ahead and prepare for the future. Taking out a funeral plan is a sensible and thoughtful way to protect yourself against these price increases.
Why choose our prepaid funeral plans?
We can assist you in creating a personalised funeral plan that is perfect for your needs and budget. We are also happy to discuss this confidentially at our premises in Bude or visit you in the comfort of your own home.
We can provide Golden Charter Independent Way Funeral Plans that offer you flexible ways to pay and the chance to set up a tailor made plan to meet your personal wishes, this way your family will find great comfort knowing that your funeral will be carried out according to your wishes.
As members of Golden Charter, we will then ensure we look after you and take care of your wishes when the time comes.
If you have an existing plan with another funeral plan provider and you wish to use our services when the time comes, please feel free to give us a call for a no obligation chat where we can discuss the options available to you.
In addition to a prepaid funeral plan you might also consider making a will so that you have a named executor who would administer your estate and sort out your affairs when the time comes. You can contact your solicitor to discuss making a will.
What’s included in our prepaid funeral plan?
Our prepaid funeral plans will ensure that all essential funeral services will be covered, this includes our professional service charge, use of our private chapel of rest and a hearse. The plan also includes an allowance for additional costs called disbursements.
Payment options for our prepaid funeral plans
We offer a range of ways in which you can pay for your funeral plan, including payment in full or spreading the cost over a 12 month period with no additional charge. Alternatively you can pay in low-cost instalments over a period of 2 to 20 years, depending on your current age, however, this option will incur additional charges.
